2018 Toronto International Film Festival
The 43rd annual Toronto International Film Festival was my second festival with the organization, and brought a host of new challenges and deliverables; including a festival season launch sizzle, a promotion of our year round activies, and the final festival wrap up video. As part of TIFF’s video team, my involvement would extend beyond these video assets into collaboration with other teams in order to create an original sound design for the Festival’s flagship identity animations.

To celebrate the announcement of the 43rd Toronto International Film Festival, I was tasked with creating a sizzle reel for the opening press conference that highlighted some of the best moments from the previous year’s festival.

Festival Identity Animation
Animated campaign creative for the 43rd annual Toronto International Film Festival. Taking inspiration from our year round home, The Lightbox, and our ongoing mission to transform the world through film, the internal creative team created a campaign that celebrates diversity, art, culture, and community.

TIFF Is...
TIFF is more than just a film festival, and our marketing team wanted a short piece that helped explain to visitors just how much programming is available for audiences year-round outside of the iconic festival. I was tasked with creating this piece that would screen in front of every film that played at the festival, and would continue to be used throughout the year to help promote our year-round programming.
Festival Highlight Trailer
From September 6 to 16, the biggest stars and visionary directors joined us at the 43rd annual Toronto International Film Festival to show the world 2018’s most essential and moving cinema. I was tasked with creating a 2 minute trailer for the closing night ceremony that highlighted the best of the fest.
Over 70 hours of footage from the first 7 days of festival condensed into one minute and forty five seconds that perfectly encapsulates everything that was the forty-third annual Toronto International Film Festival.
